The full fright of the human rights misfortune narrating on the shores of Europe was brought dwelling on Wednesday as images of the lifeless body of a young boy one of at least 12 Syrians who drowned attempting to reach the Greek island of Kos encapsulated the astonishing jeopardies refugees are taking to reach the west.

The picture, made on Wednesday morning, represented the dark-haired toddler, wearing a bright-red T-shirt and shorts, washed up on a coast, lying face down in the surf not far from Turkeys fashionable resort town of Bodrum.

A second idol illustrates a grim-faced polouse carrying the minuscule mas apart. Within hours it used to go viral becoming the top trending draw on Twitter under the hashtag #KiyiyaVuranInsanlik( humanity moistened ashore ).

Turkish media recognized the son as three-year-old Aylan Kurdi and reported that his five-year-old brother had also met a similar extinction. Both was allegedly hailed from the northern Syrian city of Kobani, the area of fierce pushing between Islamic state insurgents and Kurdish forces earlier this year.

Justin Forsyth, CEO of Save the Children, remarked: This tragic image of a little son whos lost his life absconding Syria is scandalizing and is a remembrance of the possibilities children and genealogies are taking in search of a high quality of life. This childs plight should concentrate attentions and force the EU to come together and agree to a plan to tackle the refugee crisis.

Greek authorities, coping with what has become the biggest movement crisis in living remembrance, said here boy was among groupings of refugees escaping Islamic State in Syria.

Turkish administrators, showing the reports, did 12 people croaked after two barges carrying a total of 23 beings, overturned after placing off separately from the Akyarlar area of the Bodrum peninsula. Among the dead were five children and a woman. Seven others were extricated and two arrived at the shore in lifejackets but hopes were fading of saving the two parties still missing.

The casualties were among thousands of people, predominantly Syrians, fleeing fighting and the harsh occupancy by Islamic fundamentalists in their homeland.
